PRAISE TEAM 

- A passion for worship and exceptional vocal talent are the prerequisites for participation.-

• Audition required for participation.  We are looking for vocalists with the ability to harmonize and carry a part within an ensemble.

   

•  
  Minstry:  Team members sing on Sundays as scheduled by the Worship Pastor. Occasionally, attend out of town retreats, conferences and concerts.

   

  • Rehearsals:  Praise Team rehearses every Thursday from 7:00 to 9 p.m.

  WORSHIP BAND

  -  This seasoned group of instrumentalists provide support to our worship experience.-

  ·         Audition required for participation

  

  ·         Ministry:  Team members play on Sundays as scheduled by the Worship Pastor. 

  CHOIR

  – This group of vocalists will lead in worship during our 9:00 traditional services. -

  ·       Audition is not required to be a part of this group.

  ·       Ministry:  Choir sings every Sunday during the 9:00 service and special seasonal services throughout the year.       

  ·        Rehearsals:  The choir will meet every Wednesday from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

   

  * ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRAISE TEAM AND WORSHIP BAND *

  • Have a born again experience and live a life in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

     

    • Faithfully attend the services of Main Street Baptist Church for at least 6 months, or provide references.

       

      • Attend ALL rehearsals leading up to a Sunday, and participate in ALL ministry weekend services that you are scheduled.  Ministry weekend consists of services on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m.

         

        • Be vitally committed to serving the Lord through music ministry at Main Street Baptist Church.
