Purpose and Mission:
The Library of MSBC seeks to meet the Christian informational needs of all ages with a selection of 3000+ books, DVDs, videos, CDs, books on tape and reference materials. We have a great selection of adult Christian fiction books.
The Library’s mission is to encourage reading for inspiration, for guidance and instruction, and for enjoyment in the spiritual walk of every person at MSBC.
Library Hours and Check-Out Procedure: The Library is located by the Church Offices and is open anytime the church is open.
Feel free to come in and browse, but remember that ANYTIME media leaves the Library, it MUST be checked out (even if it is not going t leave the church itself). The Library is set up to be used by the Honor System. Each item has a card. If no one is in the Library to help you, please follow the instructions on the Circulation Desk located to the left as you come in the door. All Library media may be checked out for 2 weeks. For your convenience, there is a return book drop beside the Circulation Desk.
Library Gifts:
Monetary gifts as donations, memorials or honorariums for individuals or groups are greatly appreciated! The Library Team will choose appropriate media to be purchased with monetary gifts guided by our selection policy as well as honoring specific requests by the donor where possible.
Gifts in the form of media must meet the same selection criteria as purchased media. Donated media should be in “like new” condition with no markings or underlining. It is suggested that prior to donation of media, the donor check with the Librarian to avoid duplication.
All donated media not used in the MSBC Library will be given to various other organizations or libraries for their use.
